Job summary

5th Axis is seeking a motivated CNC Operator to join our precision machining team. You will safely operate CNC machines, load and unload parts, and monitor cycles to ensure parts meet print tolerances.

You’ll inspect parts with calipers, gauges, and micrometers, read blueprints, and verify drawings while maintaining coolant and machine readiness. A strong work ethic and dependable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• CNC operator experience or related manufacturing/shop experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring tools and follow specifications.
• Ability to work safely and consistently in a production environment.
• Strong attendance and dependable work habits.

As a CNC Operator, you’ll safely operate CNC machines while ensuring parts remain within allowable tolerances. You’ll support production by loading parts, monitoring machine operation, performing inspections, and maintaining accurate production records.

What This Job Actually Looks Like

• You record counts and revisions in Epicor travelers
• You help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What You’ll Do Here
