Job summary
Bulmann Dock & Lift in Boyne City, Michigan is seeking a dependable CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate CNC machinery to produce quality components for our dock and lift systems, with a focus on accuracy and safety.
Applicants should have experience operating CNC equipment and making necessary offset adjustments. CNC programming is not required, but familiarity with blueprints and measuring tools is a plus. Training and development opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machinery.
- Manufacturing experience, especially aluminum fabrication.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience making CNC offset adjustments.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Basic CNC programming knowledge is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements.
- Load materials, install tooling, and adjust machine settings.
- Monitor operations and make offset adjustments to maintain accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
