• Strong knowledge of metal cutting machine shop equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to cut, drill, mill, ream, bore, and broach metallic and nonmetallic parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical data.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make corrections to maintain quality and tolerance standards.
• Track job time, collect SPC data, and support productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain a safe work environment and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machines and tooling.
• Support special projects and initiatives as needed to ensure smooth production.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of HS diploma and/or equivalent
• 2 years of machining experience, with a minimum of 1 year of CNC operation
• Strong knowledge of machine shop equipment and practice, specifically those involving metal cutting
• Basic math skills
• Experience in reading blueprint drawings

Pay Transparency

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $19 - $21 per hour, plus incentive compensation.
