Job summary

Fisher Barton in Waukesha, WI is seeking a CNC Operator on 1st or 2nd shift to run, set up, program, and troubleshoot CNC machines. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following Safety, Quality procedures and work instructions to produce parts to print.

Responsibilities include gauge parts, read blueprints, load feeds, change inserts, and maintain tooling and preventive maintenance. You may cross-train teammates and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2 years CNC Setup Machining experience or successful performance as a Fisher Barton CNC Operator Level 2
• Experience training or cross-training operators

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and quality procedures and regulations.
• Produce products by following work instructions.
• Gauge parts and read blueprints.
• Load feed mechanism and change inserts when necessary.
• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC VMs and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalate as needed.
• Maintain tooling inventories and perform preventive maintenance.
• Cross-train team members on CNC operations.
