Job summary

Holley Performance Products in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a CNC Operator to operate and monitor conventional and CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing measurements with precision tools, documenting quality inspections, and maintaining machines and work area. Two years in a machine shop and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a machine shop environment.
• Basic mechanical abilities, math skills, and proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and perform quality inspections.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions, monitor operations, and react promptly when nonconforming conditions occur.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machining equipment safely and follow machine safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data.
• Perform basic math calculations and use calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, and thread gauges to measure machined parts.
• Perform and document required quality inspections to verify machined parts meet specifications.
• Respond promptly to nonconforming parts or operating conditions.
• Clean and deburr workpieces as needed.
• Check coolant and oil levels daily and document maintenance needs.
• Clean machines and the work area at the end of each shift.
• Complete required paper or electronic logs to document production, scrap, quality issues, and maintenance needs.
