Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a CNC Operator - 2nd Shift at our Saegertown, PA facility. This entry-level role offers structured training in CNC operations, safety, and quality standards. You will train with experienced colleagues to develop machining skills while supporting safe, accurate production.

No prior CNC experience required. You'll work on-site on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:00 PM-11:00 PM) with occasional weekends and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• No formal education or prior CNC/manufacturing experience required.
• Ability and willingness to learn CNC equipment and production processes.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions under supervision.
• Attention to detail in parts handling and quality checks.
• Commitment to workplace safety and PPE.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work cooperatively with trainers and team.
• Basic math and measurement skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training to learn CNC operations and safety standards.
• Assist with basic CNC operations, loading/unloading materials under supervision.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs to complete tasks safely and accurately.
• Use basic measuring tools and monitor gauges for part inspections.
• Support daily production by replenishing materials and cleaning areas.
• Identify and report equipment concerns and safety hazards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S and safety procedures.
• Build machining skills through training and teamwork for more independence.
