Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a CNC Milling Operator for the 2nd shift to join our aerospace‑grade manufacturing team in Wickliffe, OH. You will set up and run CNC milling equipment, load programs and tooling, and ensure parts meet tight dimensional and visual requirements.

The role emphasizes precision measurement with micrometers and calipers, independent work and teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality in a safety‑conscious facility. Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to pre-finish fired ceramic cores.
• Load programs, install tooling, and mount fixtures for production runs.
• Load and unload parts while monitoring dimensional and visual quality.
• Make minor machine adjustments and program offsets to maintain accuracy.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform tie-bar cutting operations and review X-rays as required.
• Meet quality, productivity, and yield goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and support 6S initiatives.
