About the Role:

As a CNC Operator, you will play a critical role in setting up and operating CNC machines while ensuring part quality, machine accuracy, and process safety. This position offers the opportunity to support manufacturing operations by interpreting blueprints, making tooling and offset adjustments, troubleshooting machining issues, and performing changeovers. You’ll collaborate with a talented team to drive innovation and excellence, taking ownership of key responsibilities that directly contribute to our success.

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, multi-axis) safely and efficiently, often managing multiple machines simultaneously
• Read and interpret blueprints, CNC programs, and job travelers to plan machining operations and ensure proper setups
• Perform fixture and tooling changeovers independently and verify CNC program accuracy
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues, making necessary adjustments to programs and tooling offsets
• Inspect parts during and after production using precision measuring tools and CMM; identify defects and document inspection results
• Replace worn or broken tools, maintain accurate tool life records, and conduct basic preventive maintenance
• Train, assign tasks to, and inspect the work of other machine operators, sharing best practices and supporting their growth
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 6S and ISO standards
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold company quality and safety policies
• Communicate clearly during shift handovers and collaborate closely with the team to meet production goals

What We’re Looking For:

Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

• 3–5+ years of CNC operation experience, with proven ability to manage complex setups and troubleshoot independently
• Experience operating a range of machining equipment, including CNC and conventional machines
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical work instructions
• Strong math skills for precise measurements, adjustments, and documentation
• High attention to detail with a consistent track record of meeting quality standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods (85–100% of the shift)
• Thorough understanding of machining operations, tooling, and common part defects.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
