Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is seeking a CNC Operator for 4 day, 10-hour shifts in Crowley, TX. This role programs, sets up, and runs CNC machines, ensuring quality and safety while maintaining documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime may be required; you will join a safety-focused team delivering reliable machined parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2 years of successful manufacturing shop employment experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good computer skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints.
• Must be able to read and comprehend manufacturing documents, blueprints, and other company publications related to the job and all safety notifications.
• Knowledge of CNC machine tools.
• Use of micrometers, calipers, and other common shop tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Commitment to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.

• The CNC Operator will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

What You Will Do:

Position Details:

• 4 day - 10hr shifts, Monday - Thursday, 5:30am – 4:15pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and standing or walking in the work area for most of the day is a requirement of the job.
• Stand for up to 8 hours or more.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout process.
• Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material.
• The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.
