CNC Operator (1st or 2nd shift)

The Role:

As a CNC Operator, you will prepare and set up machines to fabricate highly precision-machined parts. You will set up and operate close tolerance and conventional equipment, verify precision machined parts, and document actions. This role can be on 1st or 2nd shift.

Your Responsibilities:

• Fabricate highly precision-machined parts by operating turning and milling centers according to work orders, routers, and blueprints.
• Set up close tolerance and conventional equipment by studying drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals, and installing computerized instructions.
• Document actions by signing off and completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Perform quality tests and operational checks.
• Verify parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Our Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of CNC controls and cutting tools.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to deburr and handle parts to customer requirements.
• Work independently.
• Install computerized instructions.
• Safety and quality minded.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00
