Join us to apply for the CNC Operator (1st or 2nd shift) role at Durex Industries.

This role involves preparing and setting up machines to fabricate highly precision-machined parts, operating close tolerance and conventional equipment, verifying parts, and documenting actions. The position can be on 1st or 2nd shift.

Your Responsibilities

• Fabricate highly precision-machined parts by operating turning and milling centers based on work orders, routers, and blueprints.
• Set up close tolerance and conventional equipment by studying drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals, and installing instructions.
• Document actions by signing off and completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Perform quality tests and operational checks.
• Verify parts using precision measuring equipment.
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.

Our Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of CNC controls and cutting tools.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to deburr and handle parts to customer requirements.
• Work independently and install computerized instructions.
• Safety and quality minded with good work ethics.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Self-starter and responsible for own actions and decisions.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00
