Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions in Seabrook, NH is looking for an EDM Operator to run EDM equipment, read blueprints, and contribute to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

You will inspect parts, document results, and help maintain equipment and workflow while following setup sheets and drawings to ensure quality and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate EDM machines within the department.
• Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
• Continuously monitor equipment and tooling; notify manager if breakdowns occur.
• Follow the setup sheets, drawings and/or programs.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Ensure activities comply with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate EDM machines within the department.
• Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
• Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.
• Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.
• Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands:

• Light to moderate physical exertion required
• Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50
• Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
