Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions in Seabrook, NH is seeking an EDM operator to operate EDM machines, inspect parts, and document results in in-process inspection records. You will monitor equipment, follow setup instructions, and maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with quality systems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with prior manufacturing experience, reads blueprints, and demonstrates strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Ensure activities comply with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate EDM machines within the department.
• Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
• Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.
• Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.
• Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands:

• Light to moderate physical exertion required
• Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50
• Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
