Job summary

ARCH Global Precision in Seabrook, NH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the second shift. You will operate and set up machines, inspect parts, and document results according to in-process plans.

The role requires reading blueprints, using calipers and micrometers, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. You will train new team members and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up machines within the department.
• Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
• Continuously monitor equipment and tooling; notify manager to resolve problems.
• Follow setup sheets, drawings and/or programs.
• Assist with training of new team members and operators.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Ensure activities align with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

2nd Shift Premium:
This position is scheduled on 2nd shift and includes a 15% shift differential on top the base rate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and set-up machines within the department.
• Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
• Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.
• Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.
• Assist with training of new team members and operators.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years related experience

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient with one or more of the following CNC machines: EDM RAM, EDM Wire, Lathe, Mill, Mill-Turn, Swiss.
• Experienced in use of caliper, micrometer, OC and height gage for dimensional inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.
• Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands:

• Light to moderate physical exertion required
• Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50
• Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
