Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Operator for a night shift at our Rockford, IL facility. You will operate Doosan CNC machines to produce precision parts, read blueprints, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Candidates should have 5+ years of CNC experience, proficiency with precision measuring tools, and a disciplined, team-oriented approach. High school diploma required; additional CNC training a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines (Doosan preferred).
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong measurement tool proficiency and quality-control background.

Responsibilities

• Operate Doosan CNC machines to produce parts according to high quality and safety standards.

• Use precision measurement tools to inspect and verify dimensions.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and prevent malfunctions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Doosan CNC machines to produce parts, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and diagrams to determine the correct method and sequence of operations.
• Use precision measurement tools to inspect and verify the dimensions of parts, ensuring they meet exact specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and prevent machine malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their optimal operation.
• Work closely with our quality control team to identify and correct any defects or errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines, preferably Doosan machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques.
• Previous experience in a quality control role in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification or training in CNC operation or a related field is a plus.
