Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a CNC Router Operator in Frazeysburg, OH to join a fast-paced production team. The role requires operating CNC equipment, setting up to customer specifications, and maintaining quality output while adhering to safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have manufacturing experience, the ability to read instructions and tape measures, and be capable of teamwork within a safety-conscious environment. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Two years of job related experience, including machine operator/maintenance.
• Overhead Crane certification required; must be acquired on the job within 90 days.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Router and perform setup to customer specifications.
• Load and unload material to router and follow work instructions.
• Adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards and supervise line safety.
• Participate in changeovers and coordinate with material handlers for needed supplies.
• Assist with data entry and ERP system records.
• Perform quality inspections and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Meet or exceed production standards and maintain neat, 5S compliant workspace.
• Direct and support other workers in finishing tasks and continuous process improvements.

Job Title:CNC Router Operator

Location:Frazeysburg, OH

Schedule:Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

• (2) 15 min paid breaks and (1) 30 min unpaid lunch

Pay Rate:Starting up to $20.25/hr

Job Summary:

Candidate must have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment, operating machines or heavy equipment to specific measurements or print specifications is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:

• Machine operator and/or machine maintenance experience
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions
• Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards
• CNC Router Set Up to customer specifications; initiate programs and operate CNC for best quality output
• Load and unload material to router
• Plan, organize and actively participate in activities such as change-over procedures, instructing material handlers to provide needed materials, recording tags and labels for production rolls/orders while machine is running.
• Assist with data entry and management through ERP system
• Perform Quality Inspections and make appropriate decisions with input or advice from the supervisor regarding line speed, quality of product adjustments and machine maintenance.
• Meet / Exceed production standards

• Direct employees assisting with the finished product

• Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures
• Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Proven commitment to quality complaince and productivity
• Two years of job related experience required, including machine operator / maintenance
• Ability to identify ultrasonic, thermal, electrical and pneumatic concerns
• Ability to follow work instructions from start up to shut down
• Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out
• Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Overhead Crane certification required. Must be acquired on the job within 90 days.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure
• Ability to be self-motivated
