Qualifications

• Blast and paint plate.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and correct faulty programming.
• Train new or existing team members.
• Assure safety of all team members.
• Assist in completion of tasks to meet deadlines.

Arcosa Wind Towers is now hiring for CNC Operators. As a CNC Operator, you'll set up and operate machines, and may use blueprints, adjust for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas. You'll work with unconventional materials that require specialized skills.

Job Location: Newton, IA

What you'll do:

• Roll and re-roll plate to match sweep
• Inspect plate for defects and damage
• Operate burn table to cut plate according to blueprints and measurements and dispose of any remaining material
• Operate mag lift to transfer plate within the department
• Blast and paint plate
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Assure safety of all team members

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
