Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. in Newton, IA, is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and operate machines, read blueprints, and handle plate materials. You will roll, re-roll, inspect, burn, and blast plates while following safety rules and collaborating with a team.

• Ability to operate a lift to move loads up to 30,000 pounds.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane on a production line.

Responsibilities

Arcosa Wind Towers is now hiring for CNC Operators.

As a CNC Operator, you’ll set up and operate machines, and may use blueprints, adjust for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas. You’ll work with unconventional materials that require specialized skills.

What You’ll Do

Working Conditions

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
