Job summary

Hire Energy Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a metal manufacturing facility in Mansfield, TX. The role focuses on set-up, operation, and monitoring of CNC machinery to produce precision metal components.

The position requires familiarity with CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers, plus reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools. You will work a full 2nd shift with potential overtime, in a safety-conscious, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Prior CNC machining or CNC operator experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand basic machining specifications.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Willingness to work the full 2nd shift and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment to manufacture precision metal components.
  • Load/unload parts, fixtures, and tooling as required.
  • Read and follow work orders, blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Perform machine offsets and basic adjustments to maintain part specs.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify finished-part dimensions.
  • Inspect parts throughout the process to ensure quality and dimensional requirements.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify tooling, equipment, or quality issues.
  • Change tooling and inserts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Communicate production or equipment concerns to supervisors and quality personnel.

Job description

Hire Energy Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Operator for a metal manufacturing facility in Mansfield, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who takes pride in producing quality parts, working safely, and being part of a dependable manufacturing team.

The facility specializes in forging and precision machining and operates advanced 3-to-5 axis CNC machining centers, vertical lathes, and milling machines. The machining operation supports both forged components and precision job-shop machining in a quality-driven manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining equipment used to manufacture precision metal components
  • Load and unload parts, materials, fixtures, and tooling as required
  • Read and follow work orders, blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing instructions
  • Perform machine offsets and basic adjustments to maintain part specifications
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify finished-part dimensions
  • Inspect parts throughout the machining process to ensure quality and dimensional requirements are met
  • Monitor machine performance and identify tooling, equipment, or quality issues
  • Change tooling and inserts as needed
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous CNC machining or CNC operator experience in a metal manufacturing environment
  • Experience with CNC mills, lathes, machining centers, or similar equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand basic machining specifications
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Basic understanding of machine offsets, tooling, and machining processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
  • Dependable attendance and ability to consistently work the full 2nd-shift schedule
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing position
  • Must successfully complete required background screening
  • Employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify
Schedule
  • 2nd Shift: 3:50 PM 2:00 AM
  • Candidates must be able to consistently work the full shift
Work Environment

This position works in an active metal manufacturing environment around CNC machinery, tooling, metal components, and other industrial equipment. Employees are expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

  • Lift up to 75 pounds
  • Accept a drug test to be performed
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
