Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group in Knoxville, TN is seeking a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. The position offers Mon-Thu, 5:00pm–3:30am with OT Fridays and cross-training on first shift for 30+ days.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, performing basic visual and dimensional inspections with calipers and micrometers, recording production counts, and reporting any defects to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Willingness to train on 1st shift for 30+ days.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow CNC operation procedures.
• Load and unload parts safely.
• Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections with calipers/micrometers.
• Record production counts and inspection results.
• Report defects or machine issues to a supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S work area.
• Complete required safety and machine-operation training modules.
