Job description

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines and related equipment following all safety guidelines, operating procedures, company policies, and standard work.
  • Maintain equipment through 5S and Preventive Maintenance procedures, including end‑of‑shift cleaning and keeping an organized work area.
  • Load, position, and secure materials or parts using fixtures, chucks, or other work‑holding devices per process requirements.
  • Review work order documentation to ensure proper revisions and material identification align with shop order requirements.
  • Make tooling offsets as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy, dependent on the type of CNC machine being operated.
  • Interpret and understand work instructions, part prints, tool sheets, and CMM reports to ensure parts are produced to product specifications and standards.
  • Perform quality checks using conventional measuring instruments such as micrometers, precision scales, calipers, and indicators.
  • Identify and report machine malfunctions or non‑conforming parts to the Job setter and Shift Supervisor in a timely manner to ensure issues are addressed accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and production goals.
  • Perform other responsibilities, tasks, and duties as assigned.

Requirements
