Job summary

Swiss-Tech LLC, a 60-year family-owned precision manufacturer in Wisconsin, seeks a CNC Operator to produce parts per customer specs using CNC Swiss Screw machines or CNC Lathes. You’ll join a redesigned cell supporting major customers and participate in on-the-job training to develop skills.

Responsibilities include operating machines, inspecting parts, data entry, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Use a variety of measuring devices to inspect parts and verify conformance of work to specifications.
  • Operate CNC Single Spindle Swiss Screw Machines and/or CNC Lathes.
  • Adjust machine tools to maintain quality specifications.
  • Sharpen and replace cutting tools as needed.
  • Adjust or replace collets and bushings as needed.
  • Replace raw material when needed to continue the manufacturing process.
  • Separate chips from parts, wash parts, and count parts.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Contribute to continual improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Swiss-Tech is a precision manufacturing company that is family-owned with a 60-year history. We supply top quality parts to customers in defense, medical and aerospace companies. We are in a growth mode and looking to expand our workforce to help support this. We offer on the job training to develop our best asset, our people.


We are looking to add a CNC Operators to a new re-designed cell that will support one of our biggest customers. The CNC Operator is responsible for manufacturing parts per customer specifications utilizing CNC Single Spindle Screw machines and/or CNC Lathes.


Our current openings are:



  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday with alternating Wednesday 5am to 5:30pm

  • Thursday-Saturday with alternating Wednesday 5am to 5:30pm

  • Thursday - Saturday with alternating Wednesdays 5pm - 5:30am


The CNC Operator is responsible for the manufacture of parts per customer specifications utilizing CNC Single Spindle Swiss Screw machines and/or CNC Lathes.


Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:
