Job summary

You will operate CNC Single Spindle Swiss Screw machines and CNC Lathes, produce parts to customer specifications, and participate in quality inspections. On-the-job training is provided to develop our people, and you will be part of a team focused on safety, accuracy, and timely

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a quality and results driven approach.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate CNC machines.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• English proficiency and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Single Spindle Swiss Screw Machines and/or CNC Lathes.
• Comply with safety regulations and Quality System requirements.
• Perform routine inspections per FAIR inspection plan.
• Move parts to CNC Cell completion rack each shift.
• Report concerns to Tool Tech and Production Supervisor/Lead.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Remove chips daily to reduce interference with operation.
• Contribute to overall production performance in quantity and quality.

Swiss-Tech is a precision manufacturing company that is family-owned with a 60-year history. We supply top quality parts to customers in defense, medical and aerospace companies. We are in a growth mode and looking to expand our workforce to help support this. We offer on the job training to develop our best asset, our people.

We are looking to add a CNC Operators to a new re-designed cell that will support one of our biggest customers. The CNC Operator is responsible for manufacturing parts per customer specifications utilizing CNC Single Spindle Screw machines and/or CNC Lathes.

Our current openings are:

• Thursday-Saturday with alternating Wednesday 5am to 5:30pm
• Thursday - Saturday with alternating Wednesdays 5pm - 5:30am

The CNC_CNCX Operator are responsible for the production and quality of parts being machined in the Amtec Cells.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Comply with all safety regulations.
• Comply with all Quality System requirements.
• Completing routine inspections on each machine in accordance with the FAIR inspection plan
• Operate CNC Single Spindle Swiss Screw Machines and/or CNC Lathes.
• Moves parts to CNC Cell completion Rack of each shift
• Immediately report any concerns to the Tool Tech and/or Production Supervisor/Lead.
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Remove chips from machine daily to reduce interference with normal operation
• Responsible for overall operations of the team and production performance (both quantity and quality)

Education/Experience:
