Job summary

Framing Technology is seeking a motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will work with the CNC Department Supervisor and production staff to fabricate high-quality metal components using various CNC equipment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and attention to detail. You’ll contribute to a collaborative, hands-on environment with opportunities to learn new skills and advance your craft.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating CNC equipment or in a machining environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery to cut and machine aluminum, steel, and other metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Select appropriate materials, tooling, and machine settings for each job.
• Monitor production and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Make machine adjustments and input offsets as needed.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems and keep production running efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Cross-train on additional equipment and support other production areas as needed.

What You’ll Do
