Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CNC Operator for a busy manufacturer in Ferndale, WA. This evaluation-to-hire role offers a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu, 5:30 AM-4:00 PM) with competitive benefits and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years CNC mill setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Vertical CNC and Swiss Lathe machines.
Run machining programs while maintaining close tolerance and finish specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify finished parts.
Assist with new program setups and process improvements.
Recommend tooling arrangements, fixtures, and operation sequences to improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot operating issues and perform minor machine adjustments.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
