Job summary

Hybron Technologies in El Segundo, CA is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join a fast-paced shop focused on machining molds and components for production and prototyping. You will own the end-to-end machining process, from CAM programming to setup, delivering high-precision tools on tight timelines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, 2–4+ years CNC experience, and strong CAD/CAM skills (Onshape, Fusion CAM, Mastercam).

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or Equivalent.
• 2–4+ years CNC machining experience with mold making/high-precision background preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Onshape, Autodesk Fusion CAM, Mastercam or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Own materials / tooling operations, including capacity planning and tooling acquisition.
• Deliver high-end molds and prototype parts on fast timelines.
• Manage full process from CAM programming to setup and machining.
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure designs are optimized for production.
• Communicate project timelines, setbacks, and updates clearly.
• Develop CAM templates and fixturing methods for scalable production.
• Plan / Maintain and calibrate shop equipment.
• Help keep a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
