Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate HAAS milling machines in a busy shop in Mentor, Ohio. You will perform tool changes, run cycles, and ensure parts meet spec while maintaining documentation and quality control.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical training, 2+ years on HAAS CNC mills, and proficiency with calipers and blueprint interpretation. On-site role with hands-on production duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school is a plus.
• 2 years of experience setting up CNC Milling HAAS machines.
• 2 years of experience operating CNC Milling HAAS machines.
• 2 years of experience using calipers.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling HAAS machines with precision.
• Perform grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sanding as required.
• Inspect machined parts and document results.
• Read drawings, follow routers, and perform basic calculations with basic hand tools.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper paperwork; report to Machining Supervisor.
