Job summary

EXALTA Group in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Milling Set-up Operator for the 2nd shift to set up, adjust, and run CNC milling equipment. You will interpret blueprints, select tools, and ensure parts meet prints, while coordinating with production and engineering.

This role requires 3–5 years of CNC setup and operation experience, and familiarity with ISO/FDA environments and precision measurement tools. A high school diploma is required, and GD&T knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in CNC setup and advanced operation.
• Experience in ISO/FDA environment preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC equipment and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment (micrometer, caliper, optical comparator).
• Knowledge of GD&T and basic machine programming.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and tend CNC metalworking and cutting equipment to produce quality parts per print.
• Mount, align, and secure tools and fixtures on machines.
• Review blueprints to determine machine operations and sequencing.
• Select appropriate tools, machines and materials for machining tasks.
• Transfer instructions to CNC controllers and set machine speeds/feeds.
• Perform part inspection and verify dimensions with precision instruments.
• Communicate with manufacturing/engineering to solve issues.
• Maintain documentation per ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
