Job summary

PPS-HPS is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exact specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong G-code/C-code and FANUC experience, plus solid blueprint reading and measurement skills. Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools like Mastercam, SolidWorks, or Gibbs is preferred. Safety and quality are paramount in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling programming and setup experience.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to understand and modify CNC tool paths.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, Gibbs).
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills; no lathes onsite.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot G-code and C-code programs.
• Read and adjust tool paths as needed.
• Work with FANUC controls and make program edits at the machine.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; interpret technical drawings.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and vises.
• Use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety procedures.
