Job summary

Staffmark in Lititz, PA is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer for a direct hire role. You will develop CNC programs, optimize milling strategies, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure quality parts. Work with engineers, operators, and machinists to drive efficient production.

The role requires reading blueprints, G-code/M-code knowledge, and a strong mechanical mindset. CAD/CAM experience is preferred and a 3-day weekend pattern is offered on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years CNC programming experience or 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs from 3D models, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Develop efficient milling and machining strategies using CAM software.
• Calculate feeds, speeds, tooling requirements, and machining parameters.
• Troubleshoot program, tooling, and production issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Support process improvements that increase quality and productivity.
• Assist with tooling selection, setup planning, and manufacturing documentation.
• Inspect finished parts and ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with machinists and operators to drive successful production runs.
• Operate CNC equipment as needed to support manufacturing.

1st Shift

• Monday – Thursday
• 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• $27.00 – $33.00/hr

Weekend Shift

• Friday – Sunday
• 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• $33.75 – $41.25/hr

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Programmer who enjoys taking a part from concept to production. In this role, you’ll create and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, troubleshoot machining challenges, improve manufacturing processes, and work closely with operators to ensure quality and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 1-3 years of CNC programming experience OR 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification

Preferred

• CAD/CAM software experience
