Job summary

Shively Bros., Inc. in Wixom, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist/Programmer to confidently set up, program, and operate HAAS CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, and use Mastercam to program and edit CNC programs, while performing in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specs. The role emphasizes precision, quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of 5-axis CNC machining experience.
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• Strong machining, tooling, and blueprint-reading knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program HAAS CNC milling machines.

Pay: $30-$35/hour, based on experience and level of independence

Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client is a full-service machine shop specializing in CNC milling, turning, and grinding. They are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist/Programmer who can confidently set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program HAAS CNC milling machines
• Program and edit CNC programs using Mastercam

Benefits

Compensation & Opportunity

$30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. The top end of the range is intended for an experienced machinist/programmer who can independently program, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and produce quality parts with minimal assistance.
