Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical company, seeks a skilled CNC Machinist in Minnesota to support the manufacturing of high-precision medical components. You will operate milling and lathe CNC machines, inspect parts, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure consistent performance in a tight-tolerance environment.

The role requires strong math skills, GD&T knowledge, blueprint reading, and experience with measurement tools and microscopes.

Qualifications

• Operator experience with milling or lathe CNC machines.
• Strong math background, preferably in machine math/shop math.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using a microscope.
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling & lathe CNC machines.
• Perform quality inspection on completed parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on milling & lathe CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance.
• Complete tool changes.
