Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate NC milling machines, handling complex 4- and 5-axis paths and precise tolerances.

You will establish speeds and feeds, select tooling, perform tool grinding, and diagnose faults while maintaining preventative maintenance; must obtain licenses and be able to work any shift.

Competenze

• Minimum of four years of NC milling experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of jig borers.
• Trigonometry and shop mathematics fundamentals.

Mansioni

• Sets-up and operates CNC machine tools with multiple axis paths and tolerances.
• Determines speeds, feeds and depth of cut; selects tooling.
• Diagnoses machine faults and takes corrective action.
• Performs preventative maintenance and tool grinding as required.
