Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks a skilled CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Grove City, OH. You will operate 4- and 5-axis HMCs, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and ensure tight tolerances on high-mix, low-volume parts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC Machining experience, 4- and 5-axis HMC experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, and metals.
• Able to read complex blueprints and GD&T, program edits in G & M codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple 4- and 5-axis CNC HMCs, many with automation.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and customer specs for one-off and short runs.
• Load materials, secure parts, change tools, make offsets for accuracy.
• Make in-process adjustments: tool wear offsets, work offsets, minor machine corrections.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other precision tools.
• Review CMM reports to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Complete production reports for documentation and workflow.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain quality and uptime.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas following 5S principles.
• Assist with continuous improvement to reduce setup time and scrap.
• Optimize processes with tooling, fixturing, and cutting strategy.
