Job summary

Smith & Wesson is seeking a production associate to support firearm component manufacturing. You will operate traditional or CNC equipment, perform material handling, and assist with assembly while maintaining clean and safe workspaces.

The role requires adherence to procedures and flexibility to meet changing priorities. The position involves 12-hour rotating shifts, basic English literacy, and prior manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret the English language.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• High School/GED and prior manufacturing experience are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform milling, drilling, cutoff, broaching, shaping, filing and media-blasting on CNC or traditional equipment.
• Safely handle and transport materials, parts, finished goods, supplies, tooling, etc.
• Load machines and assist with assembly tasks.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, safe and orderly; manage chips and scrap.
• Follow prescribed methods and procedures and be flexible to assignments.
