Responsibilities

• Program / Set-up and Operate CNC Milling and Lathe machines to produce parts.
• Operate manual mill, lathe, drill press, and grinder.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Program CNC controls (Haas, Fanuc) using MasterCam or similar CAM software.
• Determine set-up, and tools to complete production of parts according to specs.
• Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style for precision.
• Oversee the cutting process, make adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze component parts to determine efficient machining operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assemble finished product with machined parts per blueprint specs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols.

We're looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Milling and Lathe Machinist to join our team! As a CNC Milling & Lathe Machinist, you'll be responsible for programming CNC machines to create precision parts and tools for fabrication. Responsibilities

• Program / Set-up and Operate CNC Milling and Lathe machines to produce desired parts and tools
• Operate manual mill, lathe, drill press, and grinder
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Program CNC controls (Haas, Fanuc) using MasterCam or similar CAM software
• Determine set-up, and tools to complete production of parts according to specifications.

• Perform detailed analysis of the component parts configuration/dimensions to determine the most efficient machining operations required for production

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC milling and lathe machines.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Proficiency in CAM programming is essential.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications and GD&T.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
• Experience with MasterCam and 3D CAD modeling is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with 4 th and 5 th Axis is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 2+ years’ experience in CNC operation on mill & lathe.
• Proficient in programming using Mastercam.
• Ability to use metrology tools, such as, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Height Gage, Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM), etc.
• Verified comfort level using tools and performing machine maintenance.
• Ability to understand (M and G) codes.
• Detail and precision oriented.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Work performed in a small room with normal dust, smells, and non-controlled air temperature associated with machining environments.
• Requires the ability to stand for more than 6 hours.
• Able to wear PPE
• Ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
