Job summary

Avalign Technologies in Akron, OH seeks a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist on a 2nd shift to operate and set up CNC mill-turn machines, fabricate medical instruments, deburr parts, and perform inspections. You will perform tool changes, change-overs, and maintain tooling on multiple machines, while ensuring proper documentation and preventive maintenance are completed daily.

• 2+ years of experience operating a CNC machine.
• Advanced print reading knowledge.

• Experience performing CNC setups.
• Able to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate various CNC mill turn machines independently.
• Perform machine setup activities.
• Independently perform daily machine preventative maintenance.
• Process required documentation (job traveler, I.P. sheets etc.).
• Facilitate use of First Piece Log.
• Conduct tool changes.
• Conduct change-overs and tool size changes.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist to join our team in Akron, OH on a 2nd shift schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all set-up and operational functions of CNC mill turn machines, fabrication of medical instruments and implants, deburring of parts, and inspection of parts using various tools and equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate various CNC mill turn machines independently
• Perform machine setup activities
• Independently perform daily machine preventative maintenance
• Process required documentation (job traveler, I.P. sheets etc.)
• Facilitate use of First Piece Log
• Conduct tool changes
• Conduct change-overs and tool size changes
• Set tooling on all machine types within assigned zone
