Job summary

Confidential in Arizona is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Supervisor to lead a small team of machinists and oversee the CNC Mill department. You will mentor up to 4 shop staff, prioritize work, and ensure efficient setup and runs on multi-axis vertical mills (Mazak, Haas).

The role requires reading G and M code, coordinating with the tool crib, maintaining quality, and driving on-time production while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 7+ years experience as a CNC mill machinist.
• Ability to lead and train others.
• Strong understanding of G, D, & T and blueprint reading.
• Own tools and toolbox.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set-up & run multi-axis vertical CNC mills.
• Troubleshoot prototype parts when needed.
• Read & understand G & M code in part programs.
• Prioritize & schedule jobs.
• Train & mentor others in a team environment.
• Maintain constant, acceptable levels of dept. quality and performance.

We are an established aerospace manufacturing company seeking a dependable, experienced CNC Mill machinist to lead & supervise our CNC Mill dept.

This position requires an experienced individual that can lead & mentor a team of up to 4 machinists, prioritize & schedule jobs, & set-up & run multi-axis vertical CNC mills.

Compensation is based on experience.
