Responsibilities

• Sets up mills safely by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, and stops.
• Sets up mills for operators and apprentices; guides and checks their work.
• Starts, stops, and sets up milling machines safely.
• Loads stock and verifies settings by measurements.
• Maintains specifications by monitoring drilling, grooving, turning, and threading operations.
• Maintains safety, equipment, and logs; promotes 6S standards.
• Documents actions and communicates needs across shifts.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
