You will operate and set up mills, read blueprints, install tooling, monitor machine performance, verify parts with gauges, and document inspection results. Our team offers a retention bonus and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent or a 2-year degree.
• Ability to learn a new skill and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Operates and/or sets up Mills per process sheets.
• Reads blueprints and process sheets to determine machining.
• Mounts and clamps work pieces, and loads tooling.
• Installs preset tooling in tool posts, turrets, or indexing heads.
• Monitors displays and verifies dimensions with process sheet data.
• Inspects first-run pieces and checks subsequent pieces for conformance.
• Documents measurements and quality data as required by Quality Documents.
• Completes daily operator check sheets and maintains a clean work area.
• Additional duties as assigned.
