Job summary

ACAD Design Corp. in Rochester, NY is seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator with strong MasterCam and Mazatrol skills to program, set up, and run CNC mills in our manufacturing area.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years CNC programming experience, a high school diploma, and a solid ability to read drawings, interpret GD&T, and maintain precise documentation; first shift with overtime possible; hourly compensation $25–$32 depending on experience.

ACAD Design is an effective company located in Rochester, NY offering ergonomic automation, manufacturing, and mechanical design services for requirements ranging from simple to complex.We design and build custom automation equipment, gages, and fixtures for any given project whether it be small prototype work or a complete turnkey operation.

We are currently looking for a CNC Programmer/Operator to work in our manufacturing area. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years CNC programming experience with a focus on MasterCam and Mazatrol. Candidates must have the ability to program, set-up and run CNC mills. We are looking for an experienced, qualified individual who is team oriented.

Experience requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years CNC programming experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

• Ability to setup and program CNC mills
• Strong knowledge of GD&T
• Able to work with close tolerances and high quality standards
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical drawings
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of common machine tools
• Able to record and maintain accurate documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Preferred skills include:

• Mastercam and Mazatrol programming
• Machine building experience
• Conversational programming

Working Hours: First Shift, M-F 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. with possibility for overtime

Hourly Rate: $25 - $32/hr, Compensation based on experience
