Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Programmer/Machinist to take parts from 3D models or drawings through programming, setup, prove-out, and production. This hands-on role requires you to independently program using Autodesk Inventor/Fusion CAM, select tooling, establish work holding, and perform first-article inspections to ensure high-quality parts.

You will read drawings and GD&T, set up machines with proper offsets and feeds and speeds, load and modify programs, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor/Fusion CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using precision inspection equipment.
• Ability to work independently and own jobs from programming through finished part.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC milling machines using Autodesk Inventor CAM.
• Set up and operate CNC mills with Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret CAD models, drawings, GD&T.
• Develop toolpaths, tooling, feeds and speeds.
• Load, prove out, troubleshoot and modify CNC programs.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measurement tools.
• Optimize programs to improve cycle time, tool life, and part quality.
