Job Title: CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist
Pay: $20+/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM (45-minute lunch)
Location: Claremore, OK

Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining operations, tolerances, and tooling requirements
• Set up CNC mills or lathes, selecting and installing appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials
• Load CNC programs provided by engineering or programming departments into machine controls
• Adjust machine offsets (tool length, work coordinate, etc.) to meet part specifications
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
• Maintain tight tolerances (±.0005'' or tighter) and high-quality standards on all produced parts
• Detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining conditions and make necessary adjustments
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines while maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality inspectors to resolve machining or setup issues
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills or CNC lathes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and applying GD&T principles
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, cutting speeds, feeds, and machining best practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Familiarity with Haas and Mazak CNC controls or similar systems
