Job summary

AFL manufactures industry-leading fiber optic cable, connectivity and accessories and provides engineering and installation services for some of the largest telecom customers in the world. The CNC Mill Operator will produce machined parts by operating CNC equipment in a fast-paced, team-based environment, following strict procedures and quality standards.

This role requires close attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity, with opportunities for professional development and advancement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or 1+ years manufacturing experience.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Able to lift 15–40 pounds repeatedly daily.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to environmental, health & safety policies.
• Monitor production and perform machine changeovers.
• Ensure product meets quality specifications and daily goals.
• Enter production and quality data into a computer.
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
• Assist other operators with setup and operation as needed.
