Job summary

Joyce/Dayton Corp. is seeking a CNC Mill Operator I for the third shift to manufacture parts to tight tolerances and ensure quality. You will read blueprints, set up CNC machines, and inspect parts using precision tools under supervision of the Production Supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of CNC Mills experience, overhead crane familiarity, and the ability to edit simple CNC programs. Safety and reliability are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, related experience preferred.
• 1 year of proven CNC Mills experience.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Ford truck experience.
• Ability to do light CNC editing.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret routing information.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts to close tolerances (.0002”).
• Machine metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Inspect parts during production using precision measuring instruments.
• Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining.
• Set up and operate CNC machines using setup sheets and instructions.
• Edit pre-written programs and troubleshoot for improvements.
