Job summary

TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS in Claremore is seeking a Level 2 CNC Operator for day and night shifts. You will run CNC mills and lathes, load parts, monitor cycles, and perform in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CNC experience, can read blueprints, use calipers and micrometers, and maintain production output while following safety procedures. Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machine operating experience preferred
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of G-code and M-code preferred
• Ability to identify tooling wear and report machine issues
• Familiarity with CNC machine offsets and basic tool changes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and specifications
• Experience performing first-piece and in-process inspections
• Understanding of basic machining processes and shop safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent part quality
• Ability to work independently and meet daily production goals

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce parts per work instructions
• Load and unload parts; start and monitor machine cycles
• Perform in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Verify parts meet print specifications and quality standards
• Change tools and offsets as directed (no full setups required)
• Maintain accurate production counts and basic documentation
• Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
