Job summary

Presrite Corporation in Eastlake, OH is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to set up and run CNC milling equipment using complex prints to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of CNC Mill and Lathe experience, can read models and drawings, operate forklifts and overhead cranes, and perform tool offset adjustments while maintaining safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CNC Mill and Lathe experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely, accurately, and efficiently set up and operate department equipment.
• Work from complex prints and models to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.
• Lead and train peers as needed.
• Use shop measuring equipment to verify work.
• Make offsets and adjustments to CNC mills and lathes.
• Operate all relevant shop equipment.
• Read and interpret prints and models.

Job description

The CNC Mill Operator is responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently setting up and operating department equipment, and working from complex prints and models to obtain accurate specifications in dimensions and tolerances.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)

• Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Leadership and training ability
• Knowledge of tool steels
• Able to use all shop measuring equipment
• Ability to make offsets and adjustments to CNC Mill and Lathes
• Must be able to operate all shop equipment
• Capable of working from prints and models

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
