Job summary

Stand-By Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join a precision manufacturing operation in Tulsa. The role focuses on programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components from blueprints with tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, select tooling, perform tool changes, and verify parts with calipers and micrometers. This is a long-term temp-to-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC mills based on blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment (calipers/micrometers).
• Independent problem solving with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC milling machines according to part and production requirements.
• Set up and operate CNC mills independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate tooling for assigned operations and install tools.
• Establish machine setups and make necessary adjustments.
• Load and position raw materials and workpieces for production.
• Monitor machine operations and make program/tooling adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and determine corrective actions.
• Inspect completed components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
