Job summary

EnerStaff LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to set up and operate a CNC mill, producing complex parts to tight tolerances. You will read blueprints, select tools, and monitor machine performance to ensure high-quality output.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC milling experience, knowledge of Fanuc controls, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This temp-to-hire role is based in Houston, with a daytime shift and ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and troubleshoot issues.
• Able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Must know how to use precision measuring tools (micrometers and calipers).
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Demonstrated ability to set up a machine and run the job with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of G, D & T.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC mills with safety and professionalism.
• Reads blueprints and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Sets up and operates CNC mills independently.
• Selects tools, machines, and materials for machining work.
• Performs quality control checks and offset adjustments.
• Secures fixtures/tools/materials on machines.
• Monitors feed and speed during machining.
• Diagnoses machine issues and requests adjustments or repairs.
• Measures and tests completed parts for conformance.
• Ensures work meets quality and safety standards.
• Recommends methods to improve production and quality.
