Job summary

TRIUMPHdesigns in Macomb is seeking a Mill Machinist to operate and maintain Mill machines in the Mill Department, producing high-quality parts per Triumph Gear Systems procedures and blueprints.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 5 years of CNC milling experience, and familiarity with Fanuc controls. The role offers a 2nd shift with a 15% premium, comprehensive benefits, and a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 years' experience setting up and operating CNC mills.
• Familiar with horizontal and vertical CNC milling equipment.
• Able to read blueprints and manage job orders to specifications.
• Familiar with Fanuc controls and lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Clock in and out of job operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Set-up multiple types of jobs.
• Operate all mills and associated machines as assigned.
• Basic maintenance of mills.
• First part quality inspections.
• Use precision measurement equipment.
• Consistently produce quality parts.
• Adhere to directions and instructions of direct supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
